Job Summary

The successful candidate will operate a company vehicle to haul freight between our terminals in Western Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, compliance with applicable Acts and regulations.


• Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and load, ensuring safety and road-worthiness.


• Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, customs and immigration, and weights and dimensions.


• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed, check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.

Full time overnight hours.

Qualification Requirements

• Class 1 driver’s license


• Clean COMMERCIAL driver’s abstract


• Professional attitude in all interactions representing the Company


• Excellent communication skills


• Available to work full time


• MUST have minimum of 2 years or verified 150,000 kms experience


• MUST have or be willing to obtain LCV certification


• Preference given to those who already hold LCV certification and ability to operate a manual transmission

Compensation & Benefits

Wage is by km with extra add on for wait time or drops. Comprehensive benefits package available including pension matching program upon successful completion of probationary period.
