Full‑Time Seasonal Shuttle Bus Driver Opportunities Available in Kamloops, BC


As the Shuttle Bus Operator, you will be responsible for providing comfortable and safe transportation for staff and visitors to Sun Peaks Resort.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Reporting to the Chief Operator, you will be a key member of the company's front‑line team. This role requires excellent customer service, previous experience driving shuttle buses, and drivers who support working in a culture of safety ensuring compliance with company programs and procedures, remaining compliant with Provincial and Federal regulations, corporate and client policies.



  • Transport passengers to/from Sun Peaks Resort in a safe and timely manner.

  • Present a professional image and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Adhere to all safety, programs, policies, and practices.

  • Interact with passengers and address any concerns in a polite and professional manner.

  • Conduct and review pre‑and post‑trip reporting and maintains trip logs.

  • Perform basic maintenance (check the bus tires, lights, and oil).

  • Keep the bus clean and presentable to the public.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



  • Valid BC Class 2 (unrestricted) or 4 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.

  • 2–3 years commercial driving experience, ideally operating a shuttle bus.

  • Knowledgeable in shuttle bus operations, safety, ADA, DMV, and DOT requirements.

  • Understanding of the basic laws, ordinances, and regulations underlying the transit operations.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Motivated, capable, and able to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Must be able to pass an appropriate reference check and criminal record check.

  • Experience driving in winter weather conditions.

JOB TYPE: Full‑time, Seasonal (Until April 2026)


WAGE RATE: $29/hr


WORK CONDITIONS



  • Available Shifts: Day (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and Night (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and evenings.
