Bilingual Recruiter - French

The Bilingual Recruiter plays a crucial role in working with our sales team to help fill our clients' skilled and unskilled roles, including positions that require French-language proficiency. They are responsible for actively sourcing bilingual candidates, building relationships, and submitting ideal candidates who meet and surpass client expectations. This role requires prior experience recruiting for skilled French-speaking roles and full fluency in French (verbal, written, and reading).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a dynamic portfolio of candidates and manage requisitions
- Identify, attract, screen, shortlist, interview, and evaluate suitable bilingual (French/English) candidates
- Track candidate progress and follow up on interviews and hiring status with the Account Manager
- Coordinate and present offers to candidates, including but not limited to negotiation of pay rates, in both English and French as required
- Handle candidate objections by clarifying information, emphasizing benefits, and working through differences to achieve successful placements
- Manage, evaluate, and develop innovative sourcing plans to attract bilingual talent; build pipelines for critical and recurring roles; and provide market intelligence
- Proactively market bilingual MPC candidates to Account Managers
- Work closely with each Account Manager to establish strong working relationships and understand client culture, needs, and pain points to facilitate successful placements
- Ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company's applicant tracking system
- Attend in-person networking events, job fairs, and candidate lunches, including French-language recruitment events as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the recruitment
- Previous experience recruiting for skilled French-speaking roles
- Full professional fluency in French (verbal, written, and reading)
- Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously
- Proven ability to quickly build and foster relationships
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems, sales management systems, and Microsoft Office
Special Factors
- Travel throughout the GTHA may be required
- Availability for candidate calls outside of normal business hours
