Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for complex, high-value institutional and commercial projects. This role is responsible for overall project performance and may manage multiple projects while mentoring Project Managers and contributing to pre-construction and business development efforts.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of large-scale or multiple institutional and commercial projects
Provide strategic oversight of project budgets, schedules, and risk management
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and key stakeholders
Oversee and mentor Project Managers and project teams
Participate in pre-construction planning, value engineering, and procurement strategies
Review and negotiate major contracts, change orders, and claims
Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements
Report project performance to executive leadership
Contribute to process improvements and best practices across the organization
10+ years of experience with a General Contractor, including leadership roles
Proven track record delivering complex institutional and commercial projects
Strong financial acumen and contract negotiation experience
Ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders effectively
Proficiency with construction management systems and scheduling tools
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
