Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for complex, high-value institutional and commercial projects. This role is responsible for overall project performance and may manage multiple projects while mentoring Project Managers and contributing to pre-construction and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale or multiple institutional and commercial projects

  • Provide strategic oversight of project budgets, schedules, and risk management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and key stakeholders

  • Oversee and mentor Project Managers and project teams

  • Participate in pre-construction planning, value engineering, and procurement strategies

  • Review and negotiate major contracts, change orders, and claims

  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements

  • Report project performance to executive leadership

  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices across the organization

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience with a General Contractor, including leadership roles

  • Proven track record delivering complex institutional and commercial projects

  • Strong financial acumen and contract negotiation experience

  • Ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders effectively

  • Proficiency with construction management systems and scheduling tools

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
