You'll play a key role in critical project phases, from Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering to Construction, gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of commodities. We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Project Engineer to join our team.

About The Role

• Effectively manage office or onsite activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco’s objectives.


• Ensure that the project runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff available at the required times to complete tasks.


• Lead a team of engineers and technical support personnel in completing the assigned scope.


• Manage the work in accordance with the project schedule and the project budget.


• Managing effectively scope changes and trends – actively identify quantity, cost and time trends and management of the change process.


• Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel.


• Demonstrate unwavering dedication to safety and proven ability to achieve deadlines.

About You

• Engineering degree from a recognised tertiary institute or equivalent experience.


• Proven experience working in mining and minerals projects, ideally execution of mineral processing plants.


• Minimum 8 years EPCM / EPC experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel.


• Substantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting.


• Outstanding communication skill and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders.


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.


• Ability to travel to site as required.

Salary range: $120,000 – $155,000 annually

Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
