Title: Senior Analyst, Regional Information Management & Research

Salary: $88,948 - $99,412 - $120,341 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: 2-year term

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location: Northern Region (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy).

About The Role

As Senior Analyst, Regional Information Management & Research, you will provide specialized expertise to lead information management activities related to the FNHA data strategy and region in alignment with Nation and Community priorities. This role collaborates with managers, technology teams and vendors to understand, analyse and document the information management and business requirements and translate them into functional requirements. This role actively involves designing and communicating complex information management workflow analysis, drafting business cases and documentation, supporting enterprise and regional reporting, and supporting community information management engagement. The role supports in implementing FNHA and Nation data strategy related projects and supports information management in the region to ensure overall project and operational success. This role requires exceptional communication skills to convey complex information management requirements effectively.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration or information technology or related field required or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
5-7 years' of experience in enterprise-scale projects
Proven experience in translating technical requirements into clear, accessible information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Healthcare experience is considered an asset
Experience in working with First Nations is preferred.
Experience providing training/orientation to adults on new technology and concepts.
Displays cultural knowledge, and an understanding of cultural safety, humility and lateral kindness.

Occupational Certification

Appropriate certifications and other professional development/continuing education relevant to the role are preferred (e.g. CBAP)

Competencies, Knowledge & Abilities

Knowledge of information management principles and standards. Specific understanding of Indigenous data systems and research ethics is an asset.
Solid working knowledge of information management and documentation standards, methodologies, and best practices
Advanced data reporting and presentation skills.
Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, understandable manner to a diverse range of audiences, including First Nations, both technical and non-technical, including the ability to create impactful presentations and written reports.
Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships, tailoring communication styles to meet the differing needs, especially in Community and Regional settings.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
