Overview: Viva Deli Inc. is a growing food processing plant specializing in traditional Eastern European products such as perogies, pelmeni, and dumplings. We are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers while maintaining a positive and safe working environment.
Position Overview: We are seeking a positive and dependable Production Worker to join our team at Viva-Deli. This full-time position involves a variety of tasks in our food manufacturing process and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and work well with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough and fillings for perogies, pelmeni, and dumplings
- Operate mixing, grinding, and stuffing machines (training provided)
- Ability to thoroughly follow verbal and written directions
- Assist in packaging and boxing finished products
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas before and after shifts as required
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production goals
- Complete tasks as assigned by the production manager
Qualifications:
- Previous food production or manufacturing (experience is an asset, but not required)
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and food safety guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and learn new processes
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Must have a valid driver's license and/or a reliable form of transportation
