Job Description
Overview
We are a warm, friendly family seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for our 1-year-old son starting in April. This could be a long-term position for someone who truly enjoys working with young children and becoming a meaningful part of our family’s routine.
Schedule
Part-time child care hours: 20 hrs / week, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Opportunity for additional hours if you’re interested in helping with light household support (cleaning, simple cooking, small errands, and dog care).
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience caring for infants / toddlers
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Warm, calm, and patient personality
Responsibilities (childcare-focused)
- Engaging play, reading, outdoor walks, and age-appropriate activities
- Preparing simple meals / snacks for our son
- Diapering, naps, and maintaining his routine
- Light tidying of child-related areas
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Small errands and dog care
- Keeping the home organized and running smoothly
Compensation
- 20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities
- Consistent, reliable hours with the opportunity for full-time role
