Job Description

Job Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Location: Ontario, Canada

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Casual

Salary: Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($21 –$25/hour)

Schedule: Days, Evenings, Weekends (flexible shifts available)

About the Role:


We are currently hiring compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to support our employer partners across Canada. Opportunities are available in-home care, long-term care facilities, and retirement communities.



As a PSW, you will play a critical role in enhancing the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients who require assistance due to aging, illness, or disability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc.)

  • Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques

  • Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed

  • Administer medication as per care plan  

  • Monitor and report changes in client health and behavior

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

  • Maintain accurate records of services provided

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies




Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized Ontario program

  • CPR & First Aid certification (current)

  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (police background check)

  • Up-to-date immunizations (TB test, COVID-19 vaccination may be required)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

  • Reliable transportation (asset for community/home care positions)
