Newmont is hiring experienced Miners to support underground operations at the Brucejack Gold Mine in northern British Columbia. This 13/13 FIFO role focuses on executing the mine plan safely while operating and maintaining underground equipment. What You'll Need
- 3–6 years of underground mining experience
- Long hole drilling or RC drilling experience (Sandvik preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in underground and extreme weather conditions
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous learning
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience with cable bolting
- Experience operating scoops and haul trucks
- Previous mining, construction, or heavy equipment experience
- Strong mentorship experience in underground environments
