Labourers are essential in driving production on site and in the trench. They are expected to have demonstrated competency to a supervisor, or designated mentor, in all Core Responsibilities of a Labourer. It is an expectation they adhere to the policies outlined in Halls HSE and are an active participant in site organization and safety.
Core Responsibilities:
Shoveling drilling spoils and concrete.
Chipping concrete.
Pressure washing and cleaning top of finished piles.
Utilize bandsaw to trim center bar
Complete basic math calculations and use a measuring tape
Working around foundation drilling equipment.
Maintain housekeeping,spotting equipment.
Working 10-12hrs per shift, when required.
You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:
Qualifications:
- Pass a pre access alcohol and drug testing
- 2 years of experience is preferred.
- Piling / Foundation Drilling Experience is a benefit. CFA experience preferred.
- Able to travel to BC and Saskatchewan, as required.
Technical Skills:
- Must know how to operate a pressure washer.
- You have knowledge on safe work procedures.
- You can clearly identify varioustypes of hazards on site.
- You understand hand signalsfor spotting concrete truck, Crane singles.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Great attitude towards safety.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to excel in a team atmosphere.
- Exceptional customer service.
- Results-oriented.
