Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Teach French language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening through interactive activities and assessments.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enrich students' understanding of the French-speaking world.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational program and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, French Language, or a related field; university experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken French; native or near-native fluency is highly desirable.
- Previous teaching experience or experience working with children in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
