We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Floral Lead to oversee, design, and execute large-scale floral installations for a dynamic summer event season.
This role is ideal for a design-forward floral professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings bold creative vision to life, and excels at managing multiple back-to-back events with precision and efficiency.
About the Role
As Floral Lead, you will spearhead the floral direction for elevated event environments, specializing primarily in faux silk installations while occasionally incorporating fresh stems. You will be responsible not only for creating impactful floral statements but also for ensuring seamless execution across a busy and demanding event calendar.
This is a leadership role requiring both high-level artistic ability and exceptional organizational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute large-scale faux silk floral installations
- Incorporate fresh floral elements as required
- Create dramatic stage designs and statement floral features
- Lead floral prep, build, and on-site installation days
- Oversee workflow and timelines for multiple concurrent events
- Collaborate on elevated, concept-driven event designs
- Develop innovative floral ideas that push creative boundaries
- Maintain strong time management across a high-volume, back-to-back event schedule
Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of floral composition, balance, scale, and color theory
- Proven experience with large-scale installations and event production
- Strong creative portfolio showcasing bold, design-forward work
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute under tight deadlines
- Comfortable working varied event hours, including evenings and long install days
