Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative responsible for, not limited to, helping customers with their inquiries, processing orders, preparing shipping documents, and preparing purchase orders for suppliers. As a Customer Service representative, you should have excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. You will need to provide a high level of customer service to clients in order to solve and address their issues. The ideal candidate should also be highly detail-oriented, as you will be responsible for making sure all customer queries are thoroughly researched and resolved.
Key Objective: To act as the primary liaison between customers and the production team, ensuring orders are processed accurately, materials are sourced, and delivery timelines are met.
Roles and Responsibilities
Translate customer quotes and purchase orders into internal sales orders with accuracy.
Generate detailed work orders for the shop floor, ensuring all technical notes, tolerances, and finishing requirements are included.
Monitor the lifecycle of an order from "Entry" to "Shipping," providing proactive status updates to clients.
Create and issue POs for raw materials and hardware based on requisitions from production.
Handle incoming inquiries via phone and email, providing professional and timely responses regarding pricing, lead times, and capabilities.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems
Any ad-hoc requirements from customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
