Job Description

Surepoint is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand our market presence across Central Alberta This role is designed for a self-motivated professional who understands industrial services and possesses the commercial drive to turn technical knowledge into consistent revenue.

You will represent Surepoint's compression, power generation, and E&I solutions within the region. While operating with independence, you are supported by a premier technical team that provides the deep expertise required to deliver for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the midstream, upstream, and industrial sectors to expand our footprint in Central Alberta.
  • Promote our full suite of electrical and instrumentation services, alongside our distribution of reciprocating natural gas engine and compressor parts.
  • Draft proposals and service agreements, ensuring pricing aligns with market conditions and company goals.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation to project closing. Build and maintain long-term client partnerships through a consistent regional presence.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide sales updates. Monitor local market activity and competitive trends to help the team stay ahead of equipment and margin shifts.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in industrial or oilfield service sales. Expertise in gas compression, power generation, or industrial E&I services is highly valued.
  • Ability to navigate B2B sales cycles and coordinate service projects effectively.
  • An existing network within the Western Canadian energy market and the ability to manage a Central Alberta travel schedule.
  • Skilled at translating technical requirements into clear, professional proposals for clients.
  • A disciplined, goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting revenue targets and contributing to a positive team environment.

Working Environment

This role requires a strong field presence at gas plants and industrial facilities throughout the region. Regular travel within Central Alberta is a core requirement.
