As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Territory Manager to represent JT Equipment in the Red Deer region.

Position Overview

The Territory Manager – Red Deer Region is responsible for developing and growing JT Equipment’s presence throughout Central Alberta. The primary focus of this role is the sale and support of Link‑Belt excavators (LBX), Wacker Neuson equipment, Bandit equipment, and related attachments and support products.

This territory represents a significant growth opportunity for JT Equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the territory through disciplined prospecting, strong relationship development, and consistent follow‑up with contractors, municipalities, and fleet owners.

This role requires a highly self‑motivated individual who enjoys building something from the ground up. The Territory Manager will act as the face of JT Equipment in the Red Deer market, helping customers improve productivity and uptime through the right equipment solutions and strong after‑sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales relationships with contractors, municipalities, and equipment owners throughout the Red Deer and Central Alberta region

• Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities to grow a developing territory

• Promote and sell Link‑Belt excavators (LBX), Wacker Neuson equipment, Bandit equipment, and supporting attachments

• Prepare and execute a weekly territory sales plan, reviewed with the Sales Manager

• Identify customer needs by evaluating fleet requirements, jobsite conditions, and production goals

• Prepare accurate equipment configurations, quotations, and proposals

• Coordinate with service and parts teams to ensure proper delivery, support, and after‑sales service

• Conduct equipment demonstrations and jobsite visits as required

• Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, and territory forecasting

• Proactively follow up on quotes, opportunities, and delivered equipment

• Represent JT Equipment at local industry events, job sites, and customer meetings

• Continuously develop market knowledge of construction activity within the Red Deer and Central Alberta region

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers

• Highly self‑motivated with the ability to work independently

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills

• Ability to manage and grow a geographic sales territory

• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Red Deer and Central Alberta region within your designated territory

Preferred Experience

• Experience in construction equipment sales

• Familiarity with excavators, compact equipment, forestry equipment, or attachments

• Existing relationships within Central Alberta’s construction or contractor community

• Technical background or hands‑on experience with construction equipment

• Base Salary – $60,000.00

• Commission structure – 2% on all equipment sales unless otherwise specified

• Vehicle allowance – $750 -$1400 per month Depending on Vehicle

• Competitive benefits after 3 months
