Are you a certified Journeyman Parts Technician with a strong technical background in gas compression equipment? We are looking for a highly organized, customer-focused professional to ensure accurate and efficient parts sales, inventory, and supply for our external customers and internal field service technicians.

Responsibilities

Accurately identify, source, and sell gas compression and heavy-duty mechanical parts.

Develop and follow up on quotes, ensuring timely and competitive pricing.

Research, procure, and process parts orders, returns, and shipments.

Work with the team on parts inventory, including stock optimization, cycle counts, and organization to ensure data integrity and optimal stock levels.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams, providing reliable technical support.

Establish and maintain strong professional relationships, resolve customer inquiries/discrepancies, and maintain the customer information database.

• Coordinates shipping, receiving, and local deliveries, operating forklifts or material-handling equipment if needed.

Participate in Surepoint's HSE program while living Surepoint's PROS values.

Qualifications

Journeyman Parts Technician Certification (Red Seal preferred)

3+ years of progressive parts department experience — gas compression or heavy-duty mechanical background an asset

Strong technical knowledge of gas compression equipment (engines and compressors)

Proven inventory and order coordination experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely
