As a Breakfast Cook at Squires, you will play a key role in preparing, cooking, and presenting breakfast dishes to our guests. You’ll work alongside a professional kitchen team to ensure consistency, quality, and timely service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items to order and in batches
- Plan food production to align with peak breakfast service hours
- Follow standard recipes and accommodate special dietary needs as required
- Ensure accurate plating and consistent portioning of meals
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and production codes
- Assist with prep for the next shift and daily kitchen cleaning routines
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking or culinary experience preferred (especially in breakfast/brunch service)
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and breakfast cooking techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
