Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Duties
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support budgeting processes.
- Provide clerical support as needed, including data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries related to financial matters.
Experience
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred, with a focus on account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
