Alberta EPCOT aims to connect remote and hard to access regions of the province to the major city centers by installing a high speed electric rail line underground. The company uses a new innovate approach of AI Budgeting to plan the project scope.

Role Description

The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of thus project, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Daily tasks include planning project activities, supervising construction teams, monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with stakeholders. The role also involves managing schedules, budgets, and resolving any construction-related challenges. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Olds, AB.

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills to lead teams and coordinate construction activities effectively
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and Project Control for resource allocation and maintaining financial oversight
  • In-depth knowledge of Construction processes and Construction Safety standards
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a Construction Manager role or similar position is an asset
