*12 month contract duration
A leading Workday Partner is seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant to join a long term program. This role focuses on delivering expert guidance across Financial Accounting, Procurement to Payment, Project Billing, and Banking and Settlement, with additional exposure across the wider Workday Financials suite. This is a one year contract with the possibility of extension. There may be occasional milestone related travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance across Workday Financial Accounting, Procurement to Payment, Project Billing, and Banking and Settlement
- Advise clients on best practice solutions and recommendations aligned to their specific business needs
- Configure complex end to end Workday Financials requirements
- Ensure efficient configuration and expert level understanding across multiple Workday Financial modules
- Lead client discussions, run requirements gathering sessions, document solutions, support and lead testing
- Produce clear documentation on the implemented solution
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure high quality delivery
- Transfer relevant Workday certifications to the client scorecard as required
Required Experience
- Strong hands on experience across core Workday Financials modules
- Proven background configuring complex client requirements
- Ability to lead workshops, translate requirements, and provide best practice recommendations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior client stakeholders
- Experience supporting testing cycles and project documentation
