Sanatec Environmental is growing We're looking for a professional and customer-focused driver to join our team. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers, while complying with all local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations and with company policies.
Duties * Operate all company service vehicle (vacuum truck, industrial flushing truck, portable toilet truck, water truck, etc.) * Performs pre/post trip vehicle inspections of assigned vehicle * Maintain an electronic drivers log as per federal "hours of service" regulation * Communicate with other drivers to ensure that work is being completed on time and up to standard * Follow route assignments throughout the day and complete all documentation when checking in at the end of the route. * Proficient in written and verbal communications * Ability/proficiency in pulling and backing trailers.
Qualifications
- Class 3 w/air
* Good knowledge of Southeastern Alberta
* Clean and current drivers abstract
* Skilled at reading maps and LSD locating
* 3 years driving experience
* Able to operate a manual transmission truck
This position is full time. The selected candidates will be required to perform physical activities such as loading and unloading units onto the back of the service vehicle and trailers. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as well as overtime. The selected candidate will be expected to perform at the highest level to provide Clean, Dependable Service consistently.
