Position Summary

The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities for large institutional projects. This role ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate all site activities and trades

  • Develop and manage short-term lookahead schedules

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

  • Maintain daily site reports and progress documentation

  • Coordinate inspections and quality control procedures

  • Manage site logistics on complex facilities (arenas, aquatic centres, emergency buildings)

  • Collaborate closely with Project Manager and consultants

  • Lead site meetings and subcontractor coordination

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large institutional projects

  • Proven experience managing projects over $20M

  • Strong scheduling and trade coordination experience

  • Deep understanding of building codes and safety regulations

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
