Position Summary
The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities for large institutional projects. This role ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and schedules.
Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and coordinate all site activities and trades
Develop and manage short-term lookahead schedules
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Maintain daily site reports and progress documentation
Coordinate inspections and quality control procedures
Manage site logistics on complex facilities (arenas, aquatic centres, emergency buildings)
Collaborate closely with Project Manager and consultants
Lead site meetings and subcontractor coordination
8+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large institutional projects
Proven experience managing projects over $20M
Strong scheduling and trade coordination experience
Deep understanding of building codes and safety regulations
Strong leadership and communication skills
Long-term institutional pipeline
