Job Overview

True View Window Cleaning is a student-led, entrepreneurship-driven window cleaning business built by Western / Ivey students. We're hiring Summer Field Associates who want real-world experience in both sales and operations.

No experience needed You'll learn to use professional window-cleaning equipment, including a Water-Fed Pole (WFP) system and modern tools that make the work faster, safer, and higher quality. We train you step-by-step on the system and our process.

This is a two-in-one role: you will rotate between:

• Door-to-door sales
• Window cleaning tasks

IMPORTANT: This role is commission-based. You earn a percentage based on how many sales you get and how many jobs you clean. The quota will be discussed during onboarding.

How the Role Works (Rotation + Schedule)

• We operate with 2 teams of 2 workers working daily, rotating between knocking and cleaning every working day.
• Target schedule is 6 days/week, with an example split of ~3 days/week knocking + ~3 days/week cleaning (can vary by week).

Responsibilities

A) Knocking (Sales)

• Go door-to-door in assigned neighbourhoods and book window cleaning jobs.
• Hit the daily target with the average knocking time of ~2–3 hours/day.
• Represent the brand professionally and follow the pitch + standards (including safety-first messaging).
• Logging your knocks/sales so performance is tracked and improved.

B) Cleaning (Service Delivery)

• Work in a 2-person team to complete residential window cleaning jobs.
• Average cleaning time: ~6–7 hours/day (varies by volume).
• Follow training standards focused on safety and using our system to reduce ladder risk.
• Track/log cleans (notes/photos when required) to maintain quality and accountability.

Sick days / coverage rules

• If someone can't make it, coverage is arranged and pay can be adjusted for that day while quotas/commission still apply (explained during onboarding).

Requirements

• MUST have access to a car (large enough to fit equipment/ladder logistics and getting to jobs).
• Absence policy: planned absences must be communicated a minimum of 10 weeks in advance.
• Coachable, reliable, comfortable speaking with homeowners door-to-door, and willing to work outdoors.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have the physical capacity to complete tasks (walking, standing, bending, climbing).

Training & Support

• Training provided for both: knocking scripts + cleaning process.
• Performance tracking/logging so you can see progress and improve fast.
• Optional True View team shirts/gear will be provided/organized.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
