Title: Sr. Structural Engineer
Location: Oakville, ON

Salary: $130-145k + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Structural Engineer with bridge experience to join the team of our exclusive client a leader in Engineering. This hybrid role offers a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Apply 15+ years of experience in structural engineering to lead and manage projects from design to completion.
- Supervise and coordinate the production of design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Demonstrate proficiency with the Ontario Building Code, Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (mandatory), and standards for concrete, steel, and wood structure design.
- Lead design processes using software tools such as AutoCAD and Microstation.
- Conduct site inspections and fulfill contract administration duties during the construction phase.
- Review contractor shop drawings and ensure quality control.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to support project success.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred).
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver's License.
- Extensive experience in designing Bridge, concrete, steel, and wood structures.
