Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience through attentive service and knowledgeable recommendations. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS and relay them efficiently to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently maintained
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver timely service
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation protocols
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and basic math for handling bills and payments
- Experience in food handling, serving, or hospitality roles demonstrates readiness for this position
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
