Job Title: Systems Testing / QA Specialist - Senior
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week, flexibility possible)

Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Extension Possible)
Note:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist with 7+ years of experience to support the implementation of a Genesys Cloud CX Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) solution, including Verint Workforce Management (Enterprise & Essentials) and Verint Quality Management.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on with manual and automated testing, work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, and play a key role in validating system functionality, integrations, and overall solution quality in a large-scale public sector environment.
Key Skills & Expertise:
- 7+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing
- Strong experience with functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
- Hands-on experience with UAT coordination and defect resolution
- Familiarity with contact centre technologies (Genesys Cloud CX, Verint WFM, Verint QM - strong asset)
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing best practices
- Experience investigating issues using application logs and test results
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Experience / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience designing, executing, and maintaining test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Proven experience supporting public sector or service-oriented environments (preferred)
- Experience working with external vendors and infrastructure teams
- Exposure to test automation tools or scripting is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment
Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing across Genesys Cloud CX and Verint platforms
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage issue resolution
- Collaborate with developers, IOS business analysts, infrastructure teams, and vendor partners
- Lead or coordinate testing activities with project QA resources
- Develop and maintain QA documentation including test strategies, matrices, plans, scripts, scenarios, and reports
- Investigate testing and production issues, analyze logs, and escalate risks as needed
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution
- Provide regular updates on test progress, defects, risks, and quality metrics
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancements
