<p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior IT Project Manager for a long-term position, starting with a 6-month contract, in Calgary, Alberta. This position is 100% on site, downtown. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Description</strong></p><p>Our client has a lot of software implementation, security and cloud initiatives on their roadmap so having some knowledge and experience in that would be helpful, but not mandatory. They want a solid Project Manager that fits within their culture. Here are some of key characteristics they are looking for:</p><ul><li><strong>8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager</strong></li><li>Leadership - creates a collaborative team atmosphere and has the ability to drive the project forward</li><li>Time, cost and scope management</li><li>Able to lay out a solid plan and budget</li><li>Well defined, documented and transparent scope is managed through the project</li><li>Ensure the plan is communicated effectively and being adhered to</li><li>Costs are managed and monitored</li><li>Stakeholder management</li><li>Understands and executes proper stakeholder assessments and engagements; involving them in the project at the appropriate times</li><li>Stakeholder relationships are a priority to ensure buy-in and project success</li><li>Change and Communication</li><li>Builds and executes on solid change management and communication plans</li><li>Ensure our organization is prepared for the changes</li><li>Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is a strong asset</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Hard-working and willing to take on challenges as well as self-starter that takes initiative when it comes to completing all necessary tasks</li><li>Able to work in a team environment as well as independently</li><li>Can deal with some ambiguity and less structure</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please note that while all applications are appreciated, <strong>only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>InSync Systems Inc.</strong> is a privately-owned boutique Canadian Resourcing and Consulting Services Company that works closely with a range of corporate clients across multiple industries to bring them solutions that effectively address their business needs.</p>
