Agilus is recruiting for a
Senior Accountant (tax)
in the
finance sector
in
Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA) with strong experience in both tax and audit—ideally from a mid sized public practice environment. In this role, you will manage engagements from planning through completion while supporting a collaborative team of partners, managers, and accounting professionals.

Responsibilities
- Prepare a full range of personal and corporate tax filings (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, GST, etc.).
- Complete review and audit engagements under ASPE and ASNPO.
- Compile financial statements in accordance with CSRS 4200.
- Liaise with the CRA and provide clients with timely, accurate guidance.
- Build strong client relationships and respond to inquiries with professionalism and care.
Requirements
- CPA designation (or equivalent) with Canadian public practice experience.
- 3+ years of hands on experience in tax compliance, compilations, reviews, and audits.
- Strong understanding of ASPE and ASNPO standards.
- Proficiency with CaseWare, TaxCycle, Sage, and QuickBooks.
- Detail oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high quality client service.
