Job Description

Love Your Space helps clients create homes that are functional, organized, and tailored to their lifestyle. We are seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Residential Organizer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, guiding clients through the organizing process, and providing practical solutions for everyday living.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to assess spaces, understand goals, and implement organizing systems using our five-step process.
  • Empty, sort, and categorize items in closets, storage spaces, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, bathrooms, basements, garages, and specialty rooms.
  • Guide clients in editing categories (donate, consign, trash) to streamline their possessions.
  • Create functional layouts for storage and living spaces.
  • Provide guidance to clients on maintaining organization long-term.
  • Assist with inventory management, rotation, and space optimization.
  • Set up systems for clothing, linens, toys, kitchen items, and other household goods.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and manage projects independently.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful presence in clients' homes.
  • Occasionally perform light cleaning that supports organizing (dusting shelves, wiping surfaces, folding laundry), not full housekeeping.
  • Haul and drop off donations from clients using your own vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of home organization and flow, with the ability to create functional systems.
  • Experience in cleaning or housekeeping is a plus, but not sufficient on its own.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing multiple projects.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and organize household items as needed.
  • Own transportation and daytime availability to work at client homes.

Job Type: Part-time
