What will you do:
- As a Project Manager, provide direction and supervision of Building Automation projects to ensure successful delivery. Oversee project status and collaborate with other project managers. Apply project management skills along with BAU/BAS knowledge and financial acumen to ensure success. Monitor onsite and offsite constructions for compliance with building and safety regulations. Travel/visit within areas covered by the branch.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects according to the company’s established project management methodologies and tools
- Develop project execution plan, detailed project schedules, incorporating critical timelines from construction requirements including work breakdown, structure, work package, and resource planning to achieve the defined milestones
- Direct project technical teams through planning, estimating, designing, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover and warranty
- Profitably manage project portfolio
What will you need to succeed:
- 4+ years’ experience in Building Automation (BAU) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) technology
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical work experience
- Proven experience in Project Management is an advantage; open to Field Technicians with Building Automation experience transitioning into a PM role
- Good knowledge of building systems, mechanical systems and relevant standards
- Proven diagnostic skills, able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems
- Strong problem solving, analytical and quality-driven decision-making abilities
- Self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change easily
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Visio, and MS Project
Assets:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation highly preferred but not mandatory
- Prior Experience as a Field Technician in Building Automation is highly desirable

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $76,000 CAD - $105,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of 10% of the base salary, based on Company performance metrics.
