Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting the assembly, operation, and maintenance of production equipment. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment that requires strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, physically capable, and willing to work flexible hours to meet production demands.
Duties
- Support food production, packing, stacking, and material handling operations
- Load, unload, and move raw and finished products as required
- Follow all SOPs, food safety (HACCP), hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and production areas
- Operate equipment and tools safely after training
- Meet assigned productivity and quality targets
- Rotate between different production areas as required
- Report safety, quality, or equipment issues immediately
Skills
- Ability to perform physical work (standing for long periods, repetitive tasks)
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular and repeated basis as part of normal job duties
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays based on production needs
- Strong attendance and punctuality record
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Comfortable working in a cold / refrigerated environment
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or warehouse work is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
