Job Description
One of our manufacturing clients near Oakville, ON is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their facility.Pay - $90K-$100K per year + benefits
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output targets
Lead, train, and motivate production staff, including operators, machine technicians, and labourers
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards (Lockout/Tagout, PPE, WHMIS, etc.)
Monitor production schedules, workflow, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
Troubleshoot production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process bottlenecks in real time
Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns
Enforce quality control procedures and investigate non-conformances and defects
Conduct regular safety meetings, performance reviews, and shift handovers
Track and analyze KPIs such as productivity, scrap rates, downtime, and labour efficiency
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen
Maintain accurate production reports, shift logs, and incident documentation
Coordinate with planning, logistics, and engineering teams to meet customer and delivery requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
