Production Supervisor

Rydel is a nationwide exterior renovations company headquartered - the first and only of it's kind in the country. We are a growing company providing high-quality services to our residential and commercial clients, spanning all over Canada from Vancouver to Halifax and everywhere in between. Reporting directly to the owner(s), the Production Supervisor is responsible for creating a culture of engagement within the company's Production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our crews and subcontractors work collaboratively and in alignment with Managements' goals, objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), safety requirements and current Human Resources (HR) guidelines. The Production Supervisor is responsible for all activities on all active job sites and will act as the primary point of contact for our crews and our clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Responsible for shift performance, reporting and communicating with subcontractors and Rydel employees

  • Must possess very strong attention to details, record production data (contacts, notes, pictures etc.)
  • Experienced in Supervision and Leadership
  • Coaching and mentoring installers/technicians by influencing behaviours to execute and meet assigned responsibilities that directly improve individual, team and company performance.
  • Manage the performance of the production department to achieve daily and weekly targets across
  • An expert in performance management.
  • Leads AM projects meeting dispatch and follow up.
  • Continuously evaluates workplace for Safety & Environmental concerns and ensures behavioural safety initiatives are performed to goal levels.
  • Through coordination with other departments, leads the production of asphalt & metal roofs
  • Ensure all products on all projects are installed to specification and meet identified quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and/or 5 years experience in the industry
  • Demonstrable success of providing leadership in a unionized environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities to work effectively on residential and commercial projects.
  • Computer literate and proficient
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Relevant technical or industrial certifications are a plus but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to lead dynamic teams within a growing organization committed to excellence in our field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
