Job Description
The Production Manager leads shop floor operations to ensure targets for productivity, quality, cost, inventory, and on-time delivery are consistently achieved. This role oversees Production, Inventory, Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement, and vendor relationships while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead daily production operations, including scheduling, prioritization, and performance management for assembly/manufacturing teams.
- Develop and implement processes that improve quality, reduce lead times, minimize defects, and support continuous improvement.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet production schedules, capacity needs, and efficiency goals.
- Manage budgets, operational planning, cost-reduction initiatives, and process improvement projects.
- Build a positive, high-performing culture through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001), safety regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor assembly line performance and oversee hiring, training, and workforce scheduling to meet operational demand.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure implementation of manufacturing instructions and engineering changes.

Education & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in assembly manufacturing and operations leadership.
- Demonstrated success in production management, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, safety leadership, and team development.
