Look no further: m&h is seeking a passionate Production Artist who is capable of supporting our team and ever-evolving clients. The ideal candidate will carry out all steps of the infographic process while always paying close attention to typography rules and technical guidelines to craft a product that meets printing and distribution requirements.
YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Create iterations of mock-ups and layouts of marketing documents.
- Carry out all steps of the production and ensure consistency and adherence to the client’s graphic guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (i.e., project managers, retouchers, proofreaders and copywriters).
- Oversee project progression from beginning to end, i.e., from brief to final delivery for printing.
- Create and maintain a trusted relationship with the client.
WE WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF:
- You have a college diploma or university degree in graphic design or an equivalent field
- You have at least five years of experience in a similar position
- You have experience with print brochure (mandatory)
- You master the Adobe CS5-6 suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- You have an excellent knowledge of typography rules
- You have good knowledge of four-colour, prepress processes and good organizational skills, rigour and agility
- You have the ability to prioritize and work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- You are proactive, independent and versatile
- You have good communication skills and team spirit
