Job Description / Summary: This is a 2 year Contract within a Pharmaceutical Corporate environment
As a Procurement Manager, you will work in a dynamic global environment, applying analytical thinking, planning, and execution to procurement sourcing and delivery. You will collaborate with internal procurement teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into sourcing, spend management, and content enhancement.
You will ensure efficient delivery of core procurement services and continuous improvement of automation and content availability. This position is part of the Indirect Procurement Delivery team, reporting to the Procurement Delivery Lead - R&D
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in contracts, including Confidentiality Agreements, Master Agreements, and Vendor Agreements
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies leveraging spend, category strategy, negotiation, contracting, supplier management, and project management skills
- Collaborate with global procurement networks and squads to deliver projects and foundational work
Qualifications / Experience Required:
- University degree (business degree preferred)
- 5+ years experience in sourcing, contracting, operational efficiency, or relevant commodity experience (preferably in Pharmaceuticals)
- Knowledge in Clinical Development and/or Clinical Technologies (CRO, IxRS, Patient recruitment, Imaging, Patient questionnaires, licensing)
- Ability to explain capability areas or collect/translate moderate complexity stakeholder requirements
- Knowledge of procurement systems and operational processes (e.g., contracting, e-Sourcing)
- Proven capability in negotiating project budgets and contracts
- Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, cost optimization, market research, and understanding R&D regulations (e.g., GCP)
- Project management skills
- Business-level fluency in English
