Printing ClerkOpportunity in the printing and imaging industry for a hands-on role focused on document preparation, scanning, and digital conversion. Work on-site in Toronto in a quality-driven environment using high-speed imaging equipment. Business casual setting with stable weekday hours.

Responsibilities:
• Validate and reconcile boxes or files received for document processing.
• Prepare various document types for scanning, including removal of staples, clips, and bindings.
• Use handheld scanners to register box barcodes and insert slip sheets for proper document separation.
• Identify and handle oversized or undersized documents that require special scanning treatment.
• Escalate any exception items or issues identified during document preparation or imaging.
• Operate high-speed scanning equipment to convert paper documents into digital formats.
• Perform visual quality checks to ensure scanned images meet required standards, including clarity, completeness, and correct separation.
• Monitor for issues such as double feeds, folded corners, poor contrast, or unprocessed barcode sheets.
• Convert scanned documents, microfilm, or microfiche into digital formats as defined in the Statement of Work.
• Maintain and operate imaging and scanning equipment according to safety and quality protocols.
• Adhere to all security, confidentiality, and safety procedures related to document handling and digital conversion.
• Support quality and productivity objectives as defined by the service delivery standards.
What you will need to succeed:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in document preparation, imaging, or scanning is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality digital documents.
• Skilled in performing quality checks to ensure image accuracy and proper document formatting.
• Ability to operate imaging and scanning equipment efficiently and safely.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to follow confidentiality, security, and safety protocols during document handling.
• Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting document boxes and working while standing or sitting for extended periods.
