Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial and industrial settings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning and maintenance tasks effectively
- Operate facilities maintenance equipment as needed to ensure optimal facility condition
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or issues
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours as needed
