Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of commercial spaces, supporting overall facility operations and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot minor issues is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $15.80 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
