Job Description:
- Provide 1:1 support for a particpant
- Provide toileting needs including diapering
- Aid participant into the integration of activities
- Transferring participant as needed
- Maintain safety and security of participant
- Ensure that a 1:1 ratio is kept at all times
- Always maintain an open dialogue with parents, guardians and co workers
- Complete all paperwork (incident reports, behavioural logs, communication logs, etc.) as required
- Adhere to confidentiality agreements
- Prep materials required for daily programming
Administrative Duties:
- Ensure the appropriate paperwork is completed
- Work on Progress Reports and Participant Goals
Expectations:
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings and debriefings
- Arrive on time for your shifts and clock in accordingly
- Give as much notice as possible if unable to make a shift and notify the Director
- Come dressed in comfortable, appropriate staff attire
- Remain calm and professional when dealing with parents, guardians and members of the public

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week

Experience:
- special needs: 2 years (required)
- Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)
