We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions, supporting team management, and maintaining effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience with bookkeeping and payroll, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Oversee clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Assist with human resources functions including onboarding, training & development, and employee record maintenance
- Handle bookkeeping and payroll activities using QuickBooks desktop
- Coordinate vendor management activities, including invoicing and service scheduling
- Support office budgeting processes and monitor expenses to ensure efficient resource utilization
- Maintain organized records for all office activities and ensure compliance with company policies
- Facilitate communication across departments to support operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with strong team management capabilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and vendor management
- Extensive office experience including clerical tasks, filing systems, and administrative support
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle training & development initiatives for staff members
- Competence in budgeting and expense tracking to support financial planning efforts
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an office setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
