SLB is seeking a motivated, curious, and fast‑learning undergraduate or master's student to join our Calgary team as a Manufacturing Operations Intern. This office‑based role offers a unique early‑career opportunity to gain hands‑on exposure to real manufacturing operations, process‑improvement initiatives, and cross‑functional engineering activities. You will apply your academic foundation to meaningful projects while working alongside experienced engineers who support global operations. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in planning, designing, and executing process‑improvement and distribution‑related projects.
  • Contribute to a defined internship project by performing analyses, preparing results, and presenting recommendations.
  • Assist with data preparation, quality checks, documentation, and other technical support activities.
  • Work closely with local and global stakeholders, including international engineering groups and external vendors.
  • Participate in coordination and project‑management activities to help drive project milestones.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Second‑year or higher BSc or master's student in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong digital skills in basic programming, Power Apps logic, Power BI, and design software, considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Fast learner with strong adaptability and a proactive mindset.
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
