Manager, IT FP&A
Job Description
Workplace: 4 days on-site, 1 day flexible/remote
The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a Manager of FP&A - IT, who will serve as a key business partner to the CIO, IT leadership, and Project Management Office. This role will lead financial planning, analysis, and performance management activities for the IT function, providing strategic insight and guidance to support technology investments and enterprise initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT and PMO budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews
- Manage IT cost allocations, accruals, and capital/operating expenditure tracking
- Partner with IT leaders on strategic planning, financial modeling, and KPI reporting
- Support project governance through business case validation
- Participate in contract reviews and procurement cost analyses
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and support the SR&ED process
What We Need From You:
- CPA designated or near completion of the program
- 5+ years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience - specifically acting as a strategic business partner to IT
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Ability to pick up new technology quickly
- Experience building financial models
- Knowledge of project metrics such as NPV and IRR
