Opérateur (classe 1 ou 2) :

Bunge est à la recherche d'un mécanicien de machinerie fixe classe 1 ou 2 pour son usine de transformation de graines oléagineuses de Bécancour. Le candidat retenu sera responsable de l'opération et l'entretien de la centrale thermique. Il devra respecter intégralement les différents programmes et politiques de l'entreprise.

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Opérer les systèmes reliés à la centrale thermique de classe 1, du traitement des eaux (SBR) et de divers systèmes sur le site. Ceci comprend des compresseurs, des refroidisseurs, des bouilloires, un générateur de vapeur, un système de boues activées et tout autre processus ou équipement sous la responsabilité du secteur des utilités;
  • Exécuter différents tests de laboratoire reliés aux normes gouvernementales de la qualité des eaux de procédé.
  • Suivre les instructions et les attentes quotidiennes émanant de son supérieur immédiat en lien à des tâches d'opération, d'entretien et de maintien des opérations du secteur des utilités;
  • Respecter toute norme et réglementation gouvernementale applicable à tout secteur qu'il est assigné et s'assurer de tenir à jour tous les registres et sa carte de qualification;
  • Participer à toute formation et tout programme d'amélioration continu requis par son supérieur.

Compétences / Exigences :

  • Certificat de machine fixe Classe 1 Vapeur en priorité ou Classe 2 Vapeur selon article 19 du règlement sur les mécaniciens de machine fixes (L.R.Q., c. M-6, a. 12)
  • Compétences éprouvées en analyse et résolution de problèmes.
  • Autonomie, dynamisme, débrouillardise et sens de l'organisation.
  • Bonne connaissance et habileté en mécanique.
  • Habileté pour la gestion d'équipements par système distribué.
  • Bonne connaissance avec la suite office.
  • Bonne gestion du stress.
  • Forte conscientisation en santé et sécurité au travail.
  • Apte à travailler dans un environnement de travail à risques (travaux en hauteur, espace clos, produits chimiques, etc.)
  • Doit être en mesure de travailler sur les quarts de travail de 12 heures, en rotation jour, nuit et week-end.

Operator (class 1 or 2)

Bunge is seeking for a Class 1 or 2 Stationary Mechanic for its Becancour oilseed processing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the thermal power plant. He must fully respect the various policies and programs of the company.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Operate the systems connected to the class 1 thermal power plant, the water treatment plant (SBR) and various other systems on the site. This includes compressors, chillers, kettles, a steam generator, an activated sludge system and any other process or equipment under the responsibility of the utilities sector;
  • Perform various laboratory tests related to government standards for the quality of process water.
  • Follow the daily instructions and expectations of his immediate supervisor in connection with the tasks of operation and maintenance of the utilities sector;
  • Comply with all government standards and regulations applicable to any sector assigned to him and ensure that all records and his qualification certification are kept up to date;
  • Participate in any training and any continuous improvement program required by his superior.

Skills/Experience Requirements: 

  • Stationary engine certificate Class 1 or Class 2 with Steam as a priority according to article 19 of the regulation respecting stationary engine mechanics (L.R.Q., c. M-6, s. 12)
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Autonomy, dynamism, resourcefulness and sense of organization.
  • Good knowledge and skill in mechanics.
  • Ability to manage equipment by distributed system.
  • Good knowledge of the office suite.
  • Good stress management.
  • Strong awareness in occupational health and safety.
  • Able to work in a hazardous work environment (work at height, confined space, chemicals, etc.)
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, rotating day, night and weekend.
