Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide full-time support for a physically disabled adult in a private home setting. The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, and committed to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support mobility, transfers, and positioning (including use of mobility aids if needed)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, tidying, organizing)
- Accompany client to medical appointments and community outings
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's licence mandatory
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal support worker (PSW), or similar role
- Experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to safely assist with lifting and transfers
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Clear criminal background check
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Schedule
