Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we value strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or industrial environments
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance or cleaning purposes when necessary
- Conduct facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or equipment upkeep
- Manage cleaning schedules efficiently to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report needs for restocking
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards, adhering to company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address cleaning needs or concerns
Experience
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance, including the use of hand tools and power tools, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and staff
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or coordinating with team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness
