- Qualifications: Certified Machinist with 4+ years' work experience in a machine shop environment with large horizontal or vertical mills. Heidenhain CNC control experience is an asset. Ability to interpret blueprints and accurately read various measuring tools. Understanding of machinery, equipment, and material tolerances. Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Responsibilities: Operate and set up various manual and computer-programmed machines. Operate equipment according to established procedures. Troubleshoot minor problems with fixtures or tooling. Change tools, inserts, and adjust offsets as required to maintain tolerances. Check own parts against blueprints at various stages of production. Identify irregularities in parts and non-conformance to quality standards.
