We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a talented educator who has a passion for early childhood education, and making a real and meaningful contribution to their role, community and families. The Daycare PITTStop Inc. has been open for 5 years, is a licensed child care facility, in Sylvan Lake providing care for children ages 6 months - 8 years. We are looking for passionate, creative, dedicated and talented Early Childhood Educators who are committed to recognizing and respecting the individuality, ability and potential of each child. Currently we are learning and implementing the new Alberta Childcare FLIGHT Curriculum.

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for the care and guidance of all children within The Daycare PITTStop Inc. They will support the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual well- being of children through the development of child- lead based curriculum.

As a licensed childcare facility, we are able to apply for the government wage top up, professional development and release time grant funding for all of our certified educators.

Requirements

Certification as a level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator

Early Childhood Education experience,

Current, clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector search,

Current, clear intervention record check,

First aid certification.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid understanding of the Alberta childcare licensing standards, and Alberta health and safety guidelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
