The starting annual salary for this part-time School Teacher position ranges from $37,102.80 to $65,074.80, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

ATS is a Traditional school with a uniform dress code and intentional work on responsibility and respect.

Education & Experience

Major/minor or diploma in Inclusive Education (aka Special Education)
Practicum and/or work experience in Inclusive Education at the Secondary
Case management experience required
Training and experience with Level B Assessments ( ie . KBIT2/KTEA III)
Successfully complete and maintain non-violent crisis intervention certification
Eligible for B.C. Certification
Satisfactory teacher evaluation and/or final practicum reports

Caring & Inclusiveness: Create and maintain an environment that is caring, inclusive and supportive of all students
Flexibility & Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in the ability to adjust and adapt to changing circumstances
